Custom & Private Label Guide
IronForge Auto supports distributors seeking custom aftermarket parts, private-label packaging, or product specifications tailored to their applications. Product development and production are coordinated through our manufacturing partners.
Custom Development Workflow
1. Share your requirements
Send the product reference or application details, drawings, physical samples, material preferences, target quantity, and destination market. Our team reviews feasibility, specification needs, and potential manufacturing options.
2. Develop pre-production samples
Where a project requires sample development, we coordinate samples to the agreed requirements. The website's current guidance gives an indicative sample-development range of 15–30 days, depending on complexity. Timing is confirmed after the requirements are reviewed.
3. Review and approve the sample
Evaluate the sample against your application and agreed specification. Tell us any document requirements at the quotation stage so we can confirm what can be provided and when. Confirm any requested changes before production begins.
4. Confirm the order
After sample approval, we confirm the specification, packaging, order quantity, commercial terms, and production schedule. The approved sample and written specifications provide the reference for the production order.
5. Production and shipment
Production is coordinated through manufacturing partners, with quality checks agreed for the order. Export documents are handled as part of the order and shipment process. Tell us any additional document requirements at the quotation stage so we can confirm what can be provided and when.
Private-Label Packaging Options
Available packaging formats include:
- Custom branded boxes
- Custom labels with your brand name, logo, part number, and barcode details
- Retail or blister packaging for suitable products
- Bulk packaging with branded outer cartons
- Neutral packaging options, depending on the product
Artwork, label details, packaging quantities, and any destination-market markings should be agreed before production. Anti-counterfeit features or other brand-protection details can be discussed for the specific product and order.
Product Specification Options
Depending on the product and manufacturing feasibility, custom requirements may include:
- Product dimensions or thickness
- Material or compound selection
- Gasket-set contents or other product configuration
- Filter or clamp options available within the applicable product line
- Branding, labeling, and packaging details
Custom requests are subject to technical review for the product reference and order.
Indicative Minimum Order Quantities
| Product | Indicative minimum |
|---|---|
| Full gasket sets | 50 sets per reference |
| Individual sealing components | 100 units per reference |
| Filters | 500 units per reference |
| Hose clamps | 1,000 units per size |
These are catalog reference quantities. Custom specifications, packaging, and production requirements may affect the final MOQ. Confirm the quantity in your quotation.
Planning Lead Times
Published product pages show different lead-time ranges by product line and whether an item is in stock or made for production. Custom sample development is listed as 15–30 days as a guide. Production timing depends on the approved specification, order volume, and packaging; your quotation and order confirmation provide the schedule for the project.
